WHAT TO EXPECT

Visiting a new church can be intimidating, but a visit to St. Bart's shouldn't be! Here's what you need

to know.

Parking & Accessibility

St. Bart's is blessed to have a large parking lot with ample parking, designated handicap spaces close to the entrance, and an accessible layout with no steps to the sanctuary.

What happens in the service?

Saint Bartholomew's service contains two main parts, The Liturgy of the Word and The Liturgy of the Table. During The Liturgy of the Word, there are readings for the Old Testament, New Testament and Gospel. The selection of readings follows the Episcopal Liturgical Calendar. During the Liturgy of the Table, the Bread and Wine are sanctified and communion is distributed.

Caring for Children

Children are a blessing, and one of St. Bart's top priorities is to grow our ministry to children and youth. We currently offer a special children's area to the left of the altar with kid-size chairs, a rocker, and pews along the outer walls. In the future, we hope to utilize our two education wings on the lower level for Sunday school.
